The Physics House Band ‘Calypso’ Video

The Physics House Band are creating some of the most interesting music out at the moment. Having previously shared their mind-blowing single 'Calypso', the trio have now brought forth the video to the cut. Combining clips of various vibrant images mixed with a live session, the song itself is taken from The Physics House Band's upcoming mini-album 'Mercury Fountain', out the 21st of April via Small Pond Records.

Listen to The Physics House Band’s ‘Calypso’

The Physics House Band are seriously not from this planet. Releasing their 'Horizons/Rapure' EP back in 2013, the Brighton-based trio let off a whirlwind of otherwordly psychedelic, prog-rock, cosmic jazz and dark krautrock, whipped into one mind-blowing record that completely blew the doors off the hinges. So after a four year gap, the group returned the studio and, well, simply got even better. 'Calypso' finds The Physics House Band unleashing a deeper and quite frankly phenomenal shot of spaced-out pysch. Racing like a Porsche on the motorway, 'Calypso' is the epitome of musical excellence roping the sounds of the past, skipping the present and venturing straight into the future.

Stream the New Sonitus EP ‘Kleptocracy’

It would be highly unfair to simply label East London band Sonitus as one who creates one particular sound of rock. Whilst they indeed push the pedal to a full throttle of alternative, there flourishing melodies and switching instrumentation nods at everything from progressive metal to even hints of soul tones. However you choose to try to dissect it, it's simply good, quality rock and roll. This is evident with their debut EP 'Kleptocracy'. Consisting of 7 tracks in total, the release is a fiery whirlwind of racing guitars, hard-thumping drums and the reeling vocals of Russell Balogun, who delivers a graceful performance on top of the album's well-polished production. This is an impressive debut from a band who will be on everyone's brain extremely soon.
