Stream SDH’s Haunting Single ‘The Scent’

Having released their EP 'Tell Them' back in March of this year, Barcelona's SDH (Semiotics Department of Heteronyms) will now drop their self-titled debut LP on June 22nd. Comprised of 8 tracks, the LP is a blend of synth-wave, post-punk, industrial and more, rolled into one nocturnal package. One of the songs featured on the upcoming LP is SDH's haunting single 'The Scene'. Using sharp synth structures atop a light drum pattern, the echoing vocals of Andrea P. Latorre's is an eerie yet sultry music ride.

Listen to Apostille’s ‘Without Me’

Known for his work with punk bands Anxiety and The Lowest Form, Michael Kasparis will drop his solo album 'Choose Life' under the moniker Apostille on June 8th via Upset The Rhythm. Experimenting with the sounds of electronica and pop, Kasparis shared the lead single titled 'Feel Bad' back in March. He now steps up with the second single release 'Without Me', a dark melting of post-punk and new wave, with a notch of cold wave filling the in-between. Simultaneously roping an air of nostalgia with a modern sensibility, 'Without Me' is an excellent release from the Glasgow artist.

Wire Share Demo Version of ‘French Film Blurred’

Wire will re-release their first iconic LPs 'Pink Flag', 'Chairs Missing' and '154' along with special edition CD books. They will include a number of previously unreleased songs as well as an 80-page hardback book of rare photos. The band actually recorded a total of 26 demos for their 'Chairs Missing' album which includes this raw version of their track 'French Film Blurred'. A standard edition of the albums will land June 22nd via Wire's label Pinkflag.

Listen to Girls Names’ Atmospheric Tune ‘Karoline’

Belfast band Girls Names are gearing up for the release of their new album 'Stains on Silence', landing June 15th on Tough Love Records. The group shared the leading single '25' last month and now return with a second track titled 'Karoline'. Whilst still slightly darker in sound, the track takes a more up-spirited approach compared to their previous song, etching closer to the side of lush and atmospheric production.

Sink Ya Teeth Deliver the Party Nails Trampoline Fanstasy Remix of ‘If You See Me’

For those who love the sounds of punk funk, it doesn't get any better than Norwich duo Sink Ya Teeth. Signed to 1965 Records, the pair released the EPs 'Glass' and their 'If You See Me' back in 2017. With their self-titled debut album scheduled to land this summer, Sink Ya Teeth have shared a new remix of their single 'If You See Me'. Geared more for the dance floor with the rework incorporating a 4x4-driven rhythm and a twisted acid loop repeating through the track, this version is a nice addition to the post-punk/funk original. Have a listen.

CHILDCARE Deliver Social Commentary on ‘Big Man’

London band CHILDCARE have been pumping out top quality songs harking back to their tune 'Omega Grey' a couple years back. The group make their return with a piece of social commentary in their new single 'Big Man'. Lead by a haunting guitar riff, the song progresses into a dark post-punk offering that properly soundtracks the current state of global politics. CHILDCARE step up with their best work yet. The track is taken from their forthcoming EP 'Luckyucker'.
