Berlin-based post-punk band The Underground Youth have unveiled another single entitled 'I Can't Resist', which leads up to their new album 'Montage Images of Lust & Fear'. The slow-burning track begins with a minimal haunt before kicking into more of an upbeat call and response style chorus with fuller instrumentation helping to pump the BPMs.
Post-punk, electronic duo Collapsing Scenery return with a new track entitled 'Bush Mama Blues'. The song is taken from their forthcoming LP 'Stress Positions', landing this June. Frenzied in sound, the transitions from a chaotic slice of electronica to a beautiful piano-led composition. Berlin by-way-of NYC producer and musician Curses has teamed up with duo Local Suicide to release new collaborative EP for the UK-based Tusk Wax imprint. Simply dubbing it 'Tusk Wax 28', the 4-track record finds the artists doing what they do best, which is pump out dark and husky disco, hedi EBM, acid and synth wave, all spawned with a post punk sensibility. A complete soundtrack to late hour clubbing in Berlin, the EP follows Tusk Wax's 'Tusk Wax 27', all the while bringing more bite and edge. Stream a preview below.
