Liverpool band SPQR have released their latest EP 'No Brain, No Pain' via Nuthin Gud Records. Comprised of four tracks, musically the group delve into experimental alternative, art-rock and punk rhythms whilst the content revolves around feelings of disconnect and separation from reality.
Amsterdam band Rex have shared their new single 'Lovers Like We Used To Be', taken from their debut EP landing this spring. While their previous track 'Palaces' incorporated a dark post-punk styling, the latest offering is injected with jazz undertones with smokey alternative overlays.

Manchester band PINS continue to deliver tracks as we patiently wait for their new LP. 'Ghosting' is the trio's latest cut which finds the group delivering stadium-style, sing-a-long choruses over electro-driven production, stacked with 4x4 drumming and fuzzy synth work.
Brighton-based trio CIEL have released their debut EP 'Movement', which comes at the heels of their recently dropped single 'Same Old Times With U'. Consisting of three tracks, the record is a combination of breezy dream pop and lush indie with subtle hints of creeping post-punk. Produced by Jack Wolter, the songs are composed with gentle instrumentation topped with the breezy vocal work of singer Michelle Hindriks.
NYC-based band Psychobuildings released their LP 'Love World' back in 2014, which followed their 'Hearts' and self-titled EPs. Since that time they have gone on to pump out a number of fantastic post-punk, new wave and art pop-inspired singles. Psychobuildings have now shared their latest track 'M'lia'. Meshing together 80s pop and early new wave, the tune is built on sensual synth lines and thumping drum kicks which spark a feeling of nostalgia as the lyrics are an ode to the love of that special someone.
Hailing from Switzerland is the band Kush K, whose sound is a perfect marriage of hazy indie, post-punk, psychedelic, 60s pop and more. The four-piece will release their new album 'Lotophagi' on April 24th. 'Lotophagi', which translates to Lotus-eaters (the group of island people in which by Ulysses came across during his travels), is a collection of tracks recorded throughout a span of late night sessions, many of the tunes done in single takes.
Back in 2015 Singapore-based band .gif acquired multiple praises from the press for their debut LP 'Soma'. Fast forward to 2020, the duo will now drop their sophomore album 'Hail Nothing' on April 24th. With the new record incorporating influences ranging from post-punk to techno, the pair have also unveiled their new single entitled 'My Darling', which is taken from the upcoming record. Led by 4x4 drums, eerie synths and haunting effects, the dark tune teeters between nocturnal trip-hop and experimental electronica, with a strange twist of sinister pop.
We're not sure what's in the water in Cardiff these days but currently the city is a hotbed of musical talent. One band who definitely has something special is Clwb Fuzz, whose latest single 'No Heaven' is absolutely magical. Built on a seducing guitar riff, funky drumming and a sexy, driving bass line all topped off with the lush vocals of singer Emily Kocan, 'No Heaven' is nothing short of incredible.
