After 5 million singles, 360,000 albums sold worldwide and a Grammy, MTA Records has now reached a prolific milestone. Founded in 2009 by Will Kennard and Saul Milton, otherwise known as Chase & Status, MTA Records is turning 5, and you're all invited to celebrate their birthday.
With previous MTA events billing secret guests along the lines of Skrillex, Chase & Status, David Rodigan, DJ EZ, Skream, Plan B, Knife Party, Skepta & Preditah, Nero, Toddla T, Noisia, Heartless Crew and Foreign Beggars – you can expect a tasty selection of prestigious artists in the house.
Heading to Oval Space for Mixmag Live on May 2, Defected host a stellar array of label members – Osunlade, Noir, Simon Dunmore, Sonny Fodera and Sam Divine (MORE TBA) – to celebrate their Mixmag cover issue and 15-year anniversary.
This September Oval Space Music and Need2Soul present… something spectacular as they welcome outstanding musician and composer Manuel Göttsching for a truly rare performance – his first in London since 2000. And, joining him are Innervisions’ very own Henrik Schwarz and Frank Wiedemann of Âme who bring their incredible live act Schwarzmann for their first UK performance to complete an evening of blissful electronic music.
