Oscar Jerome Shares the Glenn Astro Remix of ‘Do You Really’

South London's Oscar Jerome has shared a new rework of his track 'Do You Really' courtesy of Berlin-based producer Glenn Astro. Transforming the original into a lo-fi, spaced-out Hip-Hop meets experimental electronica cut, the remix is stacked with wobbly bass, running hi-hats and multiple sparkling sound bits that definitely provides a head-nod factor. This version comes ahead of Jerome's headline show at EartH (formerly Hackney Arts Centre) in London on February 20, 2019.

Oscar Jerome Shares His Soulful Tune ‘Smile on a Screen’

South London has been bubbling with young artists delving into the sounds of jazz and soul with a Hip-Hop sensibility. Oscar Jerome is among those that have been delivering impressive recordings for the past year and a half. Dropping his self-titled EP back in 2016, Jerome's latest single 'Smile on a Screen' featuring James Massiah is a silky selection bursting with radiance. The track is reminiscent of the golden period of acid jazz, early 90s Hip-Hop and the 70s jazz fusion era all rolled up into one well presented package that is fitting for the now.
