London/Manchester band Oh Baby are set to release their forthcoming EP 'Hey Genius' on July 23rd via the Burning Witches imprint. Having dropped their cover version of Patrick Cowley's 'I Need Somebody To Love Tonight' last month, the pair now step up with their latest single 'L.I.A.R.'.
London/Manchester pair Oh Baby have shared their new track 'I Need Somebody To Love Tonight'. Drawing inspiration from the 70s disco era, the tune is a glam-driven cover of the late producer Patrick Cowley's track, which was featured on his 1979 LP 'Stars'. Oh Baby's rendition drips with the hedonistic spirit of Studio 54, yet layered with post-punk and industrial trimmings that make for quite the sexy listening experience.
