With their new album 'Tsuki' landing May 5th via Little Dickman Records, the Brooklyn band have shared a new song entitled 'Scully Is A Sharkmuffin'. Brooklyn-based duo Little Person have dropped another easing single entitled 'Perfect Girls'. The track follows their recent tune 'Solemn Is The Only Word', which are both taken from the group's forthcoming EP 'I Feel Fine', scheduled to land April 3rd. New York City duo GHXST released their 'Perish' EP last month, a heavy placing of grunge, noise, psych and more. Bringing forth their latest video 'Waiting for the Night', the self-directed visuals include the two trekking from train tracks to a motel, whilst other clips feature singer Shelley X performing the song in front of projections. On the New York side of things, Brooklyn band Sharkmuffin have been dropping a load of excellent punk, noise and garage rock tracks for a number of years. Their 2013 debut EP 'She-Gods of Champagne Valley' was an energetic marathon of raw and in your face garage that was jumping with force and attitude. That same year they also dropped the '1097' EP. 2015 saw the release of Sharkmuffin's debut LP 'Chartreuse', further imprinting their core sound which featured a modern day punk fury mixed with classic elements of the genre.

Hip-Hop legends A Tribe Called Quest have released their final album 'We got it from Here...Thank You 4 Your service'. The NYC-bred group who helped to usher in a new sound of Hip-Hop during the 90s, are an intricate part of what many fans considering the golden age of the genre. After suffering a traumatic loss of Tribe member Phife Dawg on March 22nd of this year, 'We got it from Here...Thank You 4 Your service' is not only their last release but a celebration of his life. The album includes guests appearances by Andre 3000, long tiem collaborator and friend Busta Rhymes, Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak, Elton John, Kanye West, Jack White and more.
