Brooklyn-based singer Deidre Muro aka Deidre & the Dark has released her debut album 'Variety Hour'. Consisting of 10 tracks, musically the LP weaves between 60s pop, soul and indie. Dark with an intense driving of shifting synths, yet maintaining 4x4 drums to provide a dance element, the track takes a nod at the early work of Depeche Mode, yet fitting for the present day.
Brooklyn band BIRDS are set to drop their new album 'Everything All At Once' on August 18th. Forthcoming on Greenway Records, the LP will get released on limited-edition vinyl and cassette, as well as digitally. The group have also shared a new single entitled 'Scatter' which will be featured on the album.
