For all of the fans of The Strokes who have been moaning about wanting a new album from the NYC band, their prayers have finally been answered. Landing April 10th, the group will release their sixth studio LP titled 'The New Abnormal'.
NYC-based experimental artists Eartheater and LEYA have teamed-up for an EP titled 'Angel Lust'. This latest work follows their previous collaborative track '666', which was featured on LEYA's 2018 album 'The Fool'. Comprised of four songs in total, the EP is an ethereal soundscape with LEYA providing haunting production as the underlay to Eartheater's ghostly vocal delivery.

Experimental art and music pair Helena Ratka and Sophia Kennedy, better known as Shari Vari will release their debut album 'Now' on September 13th via the Malka Tuti label. With their sound embodying a range of styles including punk, techno, jazz and pop, the LP follows their 2017 EP 'Life Should Be A Holiday'.
Kate Davis will release her debut album 'Trophy' on November 8th. Comprised of 12 tracks, the lead single is the blissful and airy track 'rbbts'. An easing handing of indie pop with a folk layering, Davis dazzles with lush vocal melodies and engaging songwriting.
Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange unveils the video for his single 'Hope' which features Tei Shi and Diddy aka Puff Daddy (for the old school heads). Model and dancer Alton Mason also makes an appearance, not to mention Tyler, the Creator and A$AP Rocky, who is yelling at the camera from a street corner in once scene. Whilst there are artistic clips of Dev performing with dancers, there are also random moments of everyone in a recording studio with Puffy giving a talk piece about love.
Post-punk, electronic duo Collapsing Scenery return with a new track entitled 'Bush Mama Blues'. The song is taken from their forthcoming LP 'Stress Positions', landing this June. Frenzied in sound, the transitions from a chaotic slice of electronica to a beautiful piano-led composition. NYC producer and DJ Ralph Session has released his new EP 'A Touch of Class'. Similar to the title, the record is just that, with is an illustrious work of house music spanning from soulful to deep, with a vibrant splash of Brazilian-fused rhythms on the tune 'Lay It Down'. Whilst a few songs on the EP are stacked with gorgeous vocal weaves, Ralph Session has also included instrumental versions of 'The Night' and 'Feelings'.
NYC-based siblings Bailen make their impressive debut with the hazy track 'I Was Wrong'. Part alt-pop and part indie with a subtle sprinkle of Americana, insanely pristine production jumps through the speakers as the group delivers lush three-part harmonies amidst silky guitar riffs, rubbery bass picks and head-nodding drum kicks.
Brooklyn's Public Practice deliver post-punk potency with their latest single 'Slow Down'. Taken from a limited edition 7" which also features tracks by Flasher and Gong Gong Gong, the song is a social commentary piece over firey, off-kilter guitar lines, revving drums and Sam York's straight-talk vocal commands.
