Marcel Lune to Release ‘Desert Gully Revisited’

With Marcel Lune's 'Desert Gully' LP being one of the top selections of the year, the wonder producer is now set to release his new remix project 'Desert Gully Revisited' on December 11th via Studio Rockers. Contributing a new, soulful future-house track entitled 'Temples'to the new EP, Lune also calls upon Frankfurt producer PNFA to deliver a techno-driving rework of the cut 'Gully State', whilst Hi-Ryze marks his return with a lush broken-beat version of 'Nookula'. Jerusalem producer Bunny On Acid rounds out the selection with healthy dose of flying future-jazz for his remix of 'Voyager'. Although there are big shoes to fill in comparison to the original album, 'Desert Gully Revisited' highly does it justice with each producer delivering quality remixes at their peak. We have a preview which you can hear below.

Marcel Lune Interview

Although semi-new in the scene, Bristol's Motz Workman, known under the moniker of Marcel Lune, composes tracks with the skills of a well-seasoned producer with a tenure of two decades under his or her belt. Crafting foward-thinking rhythms encompassing soul, broken beat, 2-step, jazz, house and Hip-Hop, his music has enticed the ears of Gilles Peterson, Rustie and Addison Groove, just to name a few. Having released EPs on labels such as Studio Rockers and Audio Dougnuts, his songs are true audible voyages, ripe with change-ups and intricate arrangements.
