Pizzagirl Gets Emotional in His Latest Cut ‘blossom at my feet, flower’

What you have to love about Liverpool artist Liam Brown better known as Pizzagirl is his uncanny quirkiness and approach to music which is kind of an 'I'm just doing my thing' bedroom ethic. With his second EP 'season 2' landing on November 30th, Brown gets a bit emotional on us with his latest track 'blossom at my feet, flower'. Giving us a lo-fi synth-pop ballad about wanting to be someone's prom king, even if it was to never happen, you still would have to give the man credit for pouring out his soul.

Stream SPQR’s Art Punk Single ‘Slowly’

Liverpool trio SPQR have announced their signing to Modern Sky Records. To coincide with the news, the group have shared their new single 'Slowly', which is out now on the imprint. A fun fair of art pop and punk, the song moves from an upbeat presentation to literally a slow, melodic change-up with beautiful piano play and enticing guitar licks before jumping back to the previous tempo.

Liverpool artist Pizzagirl makes his return with his latest track 'body part'. A clever hybrid of 80s art pop, spaced-out electronica and quirky indie, the song pumps a familiarity that is almost hard to put a finger on, yet is a distinct product and reward of his creative mind. This is definitely an infectious and exciting record from the rising act. 'body part' is taken from Pizzagirl's forthcoming 'season 2' EP, out November 30th via Heist or Hit.

Like the make-up of the band itself, Liverpool-based Oya Paya's latest single 'Why?' is a multi-cultural fusion of music styles that is not only refreshing in this day and age but reflects the possibilites of not being trapped by genre-specifics. Taking elements of indie, pop, Hip-Hop and more and blending them into one unique offering, the track comes after the band's troubles of their drummer Ashwin having to return back to Singapore due to UK Visa issues.

The Vryll Society Share Their Psychedelic Pop Driven Single ‘Light At The Edge Of The World’

With their debut LP 'Course Of The Satellite' landing August 10th, Liverpool's The Vryll Society unveil their latest single 'Light At The Edge Of The World'. Whilst the song still maintains elements of the band's signature psychedelic imprinting, the group steers the direction in more of a pop lane with upbeat drumming and sweet, catchy melodies. The Vryll Society may currently be among the psych heroes, but they are clearly expanding their sound. 'Light At The Edge Of The World' is out now on Deltasonic Records.

The Vryll Society Bring Forth More Psych Bliss with ‘Andrei Rublev’

Liverpool-based band The Vryll Society return with their latest track 'Andrei Rublev'. Drawing inspiration from Russian filmmaker Andre Tarkovsky's 1996 film boasting the same title, the track is a laid-back and floating piece of psychedelic rock peppered with pop-style vocals and Hip-Hop-esque drums.
