No stranger to Matt Tolfrey's Leftroom imprint, producer Kate Simko returns to the label with an upcoming release entitled the 'Heart All' EP. Landing on April 21, Simko brings a touch of melodic 4x4 with a jazzy layering. Consisting of three original cuts including the songs 'All Heart' featuring Amunet Shah and 'Not Tonight', Matt Tolfrey and Huxley come together to provide a scorching and grooving remix, fully powered to rattle the dance floor. Always one to bring a little more to the sound of house music, Simko and the Leftroom label prove yet again to be a winning combination.
With a CV that already includes recordings on Hot Creations, MadTechand ViVa, DJ and producer Neil Parkes makes his return to the Leftroom imprint for the release of his new EP 'Fallin In Love'. The record finds Parkes playfully bridging the classic sound of acid with funk-layered house on the title track whilst songs like 'Time To Go' and 'Gonna Tell Yer' slides on the darker spectrum of experimentalism of 4x4, charged with thunderous bass punches and sinister effects. There is also a remix of 'Fallin In Love' courtesy of producer Denney. The EP will land April 29th.
Matthew Benjamin is no stranger to electronica. In fact, the producer formerly known as Bushwacka!, alongside Layo basically helped to define the style of tech house, which would explode around the globe. His former residency at London's legendary The End nightclub provided monumental nights for countless ravers.
For a decade Matt Tolfrey's Leftroom Records have been a key source of releasing a slew of monumental tracks by the likes of Audiojack, Kate Simko, Laura Jones and more. There are also tracks by Jasper James, Jay Haze & ESB, Signal Flow and Kate Simko, with remix contributions by Chez Damier, Mr.Fingers and Mr.KS, just to name a few. Having released music on Crosstown Rebels and Leftroom, just to name a few, Leeds producer Laura Jones makes her returns to the Leftroom family to release her forthcoming EP 'Think Over'. Taking no prisoners with the title track being that of techno delivered in it's unfiltered form, the three song record includes a remix of Jones' house hybrid 'Imagination Unreal', courtesy of Dutch producer Paul du Lac.
