Lillie West aka Lala Lala has shared the latest video for her single 'Color of the Pool', taken from her upcoming LP 'I Want The Door To Open', landing October 8th via Hardly Art. Directed by Weird Life, the vid features West riding on the back of a motorcycle, with Weird Life cleverly using projections on a green screen to replicate a street setting.
Lillie West aka Lala Lala and Yoni Wolf of WHY? come together for their collaborative single and video 'Siren 042'. Directed by Scott Fredette, the video depicts West and Wolf frantically running throughout the city from someone or something, ending with Yoni literally jumping off of a ledge before Lala Lala is presented with a bouquet of flowers. Yes the video is slightly weird but the song itself is an atmospheric dream pop bit that is highly infectious.
Chicago-based artist Lillie West, the founder of the project Lala Lala, is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming LP 'The Lamb', landing September 28th via Hardly Art. Having previously shared her tracks 'Destroyer' and 'Water Over Sex', West now delivers the third single called 'Dove'. Whilst the song begins as a slice of minimalism, progresses into a tender and otherworldly deal of beautiful indie.
