Swedish band INVSN bring forth a hard-hitting dose of post-punk with their latest track 'This Constant War'. Fiery with a sense of urgency the track is a sort of call to action during these turbulent times of politics. Hitting like a blow to the face, power-packed with lashing guitar riffs and double vocals, 'This Constant War' is like the inserting of new batteries in a machine, throttling with full power.
Whilst Swedish artist Dennis Lyxzén has made a name for himself with Refused, it should be noted that his past project The (International) Noise Conspiracy is also worth checking out. However, Lyxzén's third band INVSN are three albums deep (which include LPs two LPs under the previous Invasionen moniker) and are showing no signs of slowing down.
Swedish band INVSN are set to release their new album 'The Beautiful Stories' on June 9th via Dine Alone Records. If you bought a copy of their 2013 self-titled debut LP, then you're highly familiar with the band's premium style of post-punk, new wave and heavy alternative rolled up in one grandioso sound. One of the songs taken from the upcoming album is the heavy, power driver 'Immer Zu'. Like a heavy blow to the chest, the band's thunderous sound penetrates through any cotton candy-soft music currently floating about. We have a stream of the track via YouTube. Have a listen.
