After dropping their debut collaborative track 'Tree Of Life' earlier this month, London drummer Richard Spaven and Bombay producer Sanaya Ardeshir aka Sandunes now unveil their second single entitled 'Evelyn', taking from their upcoming EP 'Spaven x Sandunes', out Sept 11th on !K7.
Mumbai artist Sandunes has released her new EP 'Spare Some Time', out via !K7. Comprised of four songs in total, the trained pianist explores moody and textured electronica, fusing elements of cosmic jazz, soul, post-classical, pop and more.
Devi is a powerful short film directed by Priyanka Banerjee. Shot in India, the story revolves around a safe house full of women ranging in various ages, all who have suffered at the hands of abuse. The differences between age and experiences trigger heated arguments among the women before being interrupted by someone ringing the bell to be let in. The women are now forced to decide if there is enough room in the home to take on another victim, which sparks more yelling. Without giving away too much, the film is masterfully done, creating awareness on the issues of physical abuse and sexual assault, with tear-jerking moments throughout.
Mumbai producer and DJ Sanaya Aredeshir aka Sandunes has announced the release of her upcoming EP '11:11'. Out September 6th on !K7, the record was crafted between Mumbai, London and Berlin. The EP will also coincide with Sandunes' forthcoming headline show at London’s Pickle Factory on September 12th.
