London band Hugh make their return with another atmospheric single titled 'Whatchu Saying'. This time teaming up with singer JYLDA, to provide paired vocals with Josh Idehen, the tune is a gorgeous blend of smokey electronica and pop dripping with nocturnal tones. The consistency of Hugh is unmatched, which is why they have been one of our fave bands for a few years now. We're keeping our finders crossed that there is another LP in the works, but for now 'Whatchu Saying' should hold fans over nicely. Have a listen.
London's Hugh return with another eargasmic single titled 'Sense to You'. A beautiful blend of spacey soul and atmospheric pop, Joshua Idehen and singer Alanna Stuart of Bonjay come together with paired vocals, perfectly complimenting the low, weighty drums and ethereal synth spreads. Nocturnal and undoubtedly sexy, Hugh yet again step up with another quality release to add to to their already impressive catalogue.
London band Hugh have delivered some pretty gorgeous tunes spanning the past few years. Whilst their 2017 LP 'Love, Hugh' elegantly blended sounds ranging from pop, soul, Hip-Hop, jazz-fused electronica and more, the band took a bit of a break throughout 2018. Making a grand return this year, the group's latest offering is the single 'Sober', which features vocalist and songwriter Amaroun. Atmospheric with the paired vocals of Amaroun and Hugh front man Josh Idehen fitting tightly like a hand in glove, the song is a beautiful and mesmeric recording that finds Hugh still at the top of their game.
Hugh has been one of London’s jewels of a band for the past few years now. The foursome comprised of Joshua Idehen, Izzy Brooks, Andy Highmore and Tino Kolarides have been creating their own lane in an organic manner, building up a solid following extending past the UK shores. The group’s 2014 debut EP 'I Can’t Figure You Out' was a lavish indication on what the band had up their sleeves, concocting beautiful rhythms teetering between atmospheric electronica, soul and pop as the double vocals of Idehen and Brooks have been a charming marriage from the inception.
As London band Hugh prepare for the release of their debut album 'Love, Hugh', the group have shared a new song taken from the LP entitled 'Go'. Bubbling with a summertime feel, the song straddles the line of pop and club, pumping with a bouncing bass line and milky synths to coincide with Izzy Brooks and Joshua Idehen's allulring vocal compliments.
