Two weeks ago Parisian producer Zimmer shared his steamy song 'Lost Your Mind' featuring Fhin. Exhibiting a darker and more nocturnal sound with the cut, Zimmer has now shared another tune entitled 'Fire', which is taken from his latest EP 'Ceremony', which is out now. A little sunnier and brighter than the previous, the upbeat song is laced with catchy piano riffs and spacey synths more fitting a day by the poolside in the summer, but no less enjoyable now. A well-seasoned producer with 20 years under his belt, Wally Callerio is set to release his new LP '10 Feet Deep', a collection of past production and remixes. Out September 30th via Sampled Detroit, Callerio delivers house music at it's pure finest with reworks of Amp Fiddler's 'Hollywood', Myka 9's 'Citrus District' and more. There are also original tracks such as 'About To Make History' and 'Hitch Hike', just to name a few.
Montreal duo Hollis P Monroe and Overnite known together as The Black 80s will release their album 'Heart to Art' on September 16th via Sonar Kollectiv. With both acts already making their mark in the house scene, their new album is laced with a heavy dose of soul and future jazz, brilliantly weaved around 4x4-driven kicks. Ten tracks in total, the album includes guests Dominik Marz and Yannick Labbé. Vibrant and unquestionably rhythmical, the duo's perfect bridging of classic New York-style house with a forward-thinking deep embedding is a nourishment for the ears and moveable for the feet.
The team over at the Italy-based label Unclear Records clearly pride themselves on releasing house music at it's finest. Swedish producer Per Hammar delivers deep, driving house music with his new EP 'Dixie's Dubb'. Consisting of two original cuts, the title track is a sultry slice of late night 4x4 thumping with hard house drums and cosmic synths, moody and reeling. 'Severnaja' is a tech-style embedding that adds another texture to the record, brilliantly complimenting the first track. There is also a stellar remix of 'Dixie's Dubb' courtesy of producer Argy.
