Gold Panda has announced the release of his forthcoming album 'The Work'. The record which marks his fourth studio LP, lands November 11th on City Slang.
A couple months back Gold Panda dropped his single 'I've Felt Better (Than I Do Now)'. The experimental club track marked his comeback from a three year hiatus.
With his last single release 'Transactional Relationship' having dropped back in 2019, South London's Gold Panda returns with a new single titled 'I've Felt Better (Than I Do Now)'. This latest tune is an upbeat dance-driven handing that is powered by 4x4 drums, chopped vocal and silky soul samples, stabbing effects, as well as a lush, beat changing breakdown.
London's Gold Panda finally makes his return with a new single titled 'Transactional Relationship'. This is the first solo offering since releasing his 2016 EP 'Your Good Times Are Just Beginning'. A moody yet bubbling piece of electronica, Gold Panda manages to use UK Garage meets broken beat-style drums topped with disjointed piano stabs, and hazy effects. He even manages to sample a piece from Hilary Woods' 'Sever' track.
Derwin Dicker aka Gold Panda has released a new album under his moniker DJ Jenifa. 'Jag Trax' is nine-track record that finds the producer weaving between multiple of house music ranging from deep to classic NY style. Raw and unadulterated, the LP is a mixture of tunes that work for any scale club size, especially for the peak to after hour moments.
Gold Panda and Simian Mobile Disco's Jas Shaw come together for their new collaborative project Selling. The pair's new LP 'On Reflection' is slated for release December 14th on City Slang.
Selling have also shared the video for their single 'Dicker's Dream', which is taken from the forthcoming album. Directed by Tilly Shiner, the visuals were literally shot with an iPhone and filmed in Japan, London and Essex. The video documents everyday life in these various cities, which is actually kind of nice. Check it out.
South London producer Gold Panda will drop his new six-song EP titled 'Your Good Times Are Just Beginning' on November 18th via City Slang. He has also released a book of photography with Laura Lewis entitled 'Good Look And Do Your Best' which coincides with his last album. If he wasn't busy enough, Gold Panda has now brought forth a live video of the track 'Your Good Times Are Just Beginning', which was filmed at Norwich Arts Centre. With flashing visuals behind him on stage, the track is truly a jazzy delight. Have a look.
