With their forthcoming EP 'Happy Days!' landing July 31st, The Ninth Wave have now unveiled their new single 'I’m Only Going To Hurt You'. Taken the sounds of post-punk and goth, giving the marriage a tightened knot of dance, the upbeat track, built with an 80s flair, is constructed with crunching synths, rumbling 4x4 kicks and cutting vocal work. Having shared their track 'Fever' last month, Glasgow duo Love Sick make their return with their latest dark pop track 'Medusa'. The bass-driven, synth stabbing tune is pumped with attitude as splashes of R&B layed as an undertone. The song is taken from Love Sicks' forthcoming EP 'No Sleep', out November 16th via Aesop.
Known for his work with punk bands Anxiety and The Lowest Form, Michael Kasparis will drop his solo album 'Choose Life' under the moniker Apostille on June 8th via Upset The Rhythm. Experimenting with the sounds of electronica and pop, Kasparis shared the lead single titled 'Feel Bad' back in March. He now steps up with the second single release 'Without Me', a dark melting of post-punk and new wave, with a notch of cold wave filling the in-between. Simultaneously roping an air of nostalgia with a modern sensibility, 'Without Me' is an excellent release from the Glasgow artist.
This year will see the release of CHVRCHES' new album 'Love Is Dead'. The long awaited LP follows their album 'Every Open Eye', which was released back in 2015.
