Producer and musician Swindle continues to elevate the game with his latest track 'BLOW YA TRUMPET', taken from his upcoming LP 'THE NEW WORLD', out October 29th. For this offering he brings in giants of the UK scene - Ghetts, Akala, Kojey Radical, and Knucks. Of course this is a straight up bar fest with Ghetts dropping lines like "who wants smoke, I'll roll it/ who wants rope, I'll hold it. Let's play hang man".
At this point there is not much to say about Ghetts and the high levels of lyricism that he has always consistently brought to grime. If you have a top 5 of all time list and Ghetts isn't on it, then you're clearly a fly by night fan of the scene.
Shy FX is clearly a legend in the drum and bass scene, but for his latest track 'Bad After We', the London producer and DJ enlists Ghetts and Kojey Radical to deliver a Hip-Hop/grime banger. While the production is more of a Hip-Hop tempo, both emcees absolutely go in to the fullest with Ghetts switching between multiple flows and Kojey Radical pumping out a husky delivery with clever metaphors and punch lines, making this tune a winner across the board.
