Berlin by-way-of NYC producer and musician Curses has teamed up with duo Local Suicide to release new collaborative EP for the UK-based Tusk Wax imprint. Simply dubbing it 'Tusk Wax 28', the 4-track record finds the artists doing what they do best, which is pump out dark and husky disco, hedi EBM, acid and synth wave, all spawned with a post punk sensibility. Singer, producer and writer Sarah P. continues push the artistry of sound and visuals with her latest video 'Maenads'. The title track to her latest EP, the highly creative video features Sarah and dancer Sabina Smith-Moreland in a minimal space creating art, representative of a place of peace and solitude, whilst still dealing with issues of mental illness. This also continues the highlighting of Sarah's background in theatre, as she and Smith-Moreland deliver a brilliant piece of performance art.
Having rapidly made her name for herself with her brand of menacing techno, Warsaw-raised, Berlin-based producer VTSS is set to release her forthcoming 'Self Control' EP on March 15th via the Haven imprint. Comprised of four tracks in total, musically VTSS weaves between dark, nocturnal techno and rumbling industrial. The record follows a batch of brilliant remix work and her impressive 'Self Will' EP which dropped in December of last year. VTSS is surely bringing an excitement and edge to electronica.
