If the music of Canadian-born, Georgia-raised singer Earth Girl Helen Brown sounds like a nomadic engulfing of styles, that would probably be due to the fact that she has trekked around the U.S. in a gypsy like manner, not to mention living in a mountaintop of Alaska. What has culminated as an aritst is an interesting mix of psych meets pop meets garage rock with an Americana sensibility that literally sounds like an entity on to itself.

Glassmaps is the moniker of Howling Bells guitarist Joel Stein. Some may remember his EP 'My Head My Heart' that was released about three years ago. He followed up with his 'Hypnotised' single in late 2016. Now ready to step forward with his debut LP 'Strangely Addicted', forthcoming this October via Lost In The Manor, Joel Stein has unveiled his latest single 'Summer Rain'. Swinging with the sounds of psychedelic and blues rock with a pop sensibility, the single also features Mark Stoermer of The Killers. Check Out The Baby Shakes’ Punk-Driven Track ‘Turn It Up’

The Kills to Release ‘Echo Home – Non-Electric’ EP

The Kills have announced the release of their new EP 'Echo Home – Non-Electric'. Schduled to land June 2. Recorded at Electric Lady Studios, the record celebrates the 15 years since the band's 'Black Rooster' EP. Aside from a digital release, there will also be limited edition 10" vinyls available for purchase on August 18th. Included on the EP is an acoustic cover version of Rihanna's 'Desperado', which was shared via an acoustic performance video.
