Alison Mosshart ‘Rise’ Video

As one half of one of the greatest bands ever, The Kills, not to mention a member of The Dead Weather, Alison Mosshart has brought forth her debut solo single titled 'Rise'. Produced by Lawrence Rothman and recorded in Los Angeles, the song has been released through Domino Records.

Hanni El Khatib ‘ALIVE’ Video

Making his return with the track and video 'STRESSY' last month, Hanni El Khatib now unveils another vid, this time for the second single titled 'ALIVE'. What you have here is Hanni dressed up in a Sylvester the Cat costume whilst taking a fall down a very long set of outside steps. While you can pretty much place the metaphorical nature of the visuals to the track itself, we're just hoping that it only took Hanni one take to do that fall! 'ALIVE' is taken from his forthcoming album 'Flight', which is out May 15th on Innovative Leisure.

Los Angeles band The Paranoyds have shared their latest single 'Memory Foam'. The song follows their 2019 debut LP 'Carnage Bargain' which was released on Suicide Squeeze. For this offering The Paranoyds deal with the transitions into adulthood with the garage rock instrumentation also embodying 60s pop melodies.

Stream the 50s-Inspired Nobody’s Baby Single ‘Life of a Thousand Girls’

Northern California band Nobody's Baby may be new to our ears but their recent single 'Life of a Thousand Girls' is a lovely offering of doo-wop, garage rock and punk that is utterly addicting. While the first half of the song musically embodies 1950's classicism in terms of instrumentation, the band switches to a harder punk-driven sound with chunky guitar riffs accompanying tingling vocal melodies. We're looking forward to hearing loads more from the promising Bay Area band. Have a listen.

Pinky Pinky Release Their Debut LP ‘Turkey Dinner’

With Hanni El Khatib and Jonny Bell handling the production front, 'Turkey Dinner' finds the trio delving into garage rock, Americana, punk and even pop.

Listen to Wild Mercury’s ‘Orange County’

Inspired by a trip to Florida where quite a bit of introspection took place, Montreal band Wild Mercury have shared their new single 'Orange County'. According to the group, this was the very first tune that they recorded together. Taken from their EP1 release, the song is a hazy rock & roll gem laced with sunny garage and alt-pop undertones.

Ty Segall ‘Taste’ Video

Word to the wise, you might want to avoid Ty Segall at all costs if you're wearing something that is eye-catching to him. If not, you may find yourself as a victim, as highly demonstrated in his latest video 'Taste'. The California rocker goes on a murdering spree, taking a studded jacket, jeans and even glittery, gold shoes.

The Raconteurs ‘Help Me Stranger’ Video

The Raconteurs will release their long-awaited LP 'HELP US STRANGER' on June 21st. This will mark their third album, since dropping 2008's 'Consolers of the Lonely'. Whilst the term long over due is an understatement, the group have also shared the video for their latest track 'Help Me Stranger'. Directed by Yasuhiko Shimizu, clips of the band performing the song are interwoven with scenes of The Raconteurs in random places and spaces in a frozen position before quickly looking at the camera, all in sync.
