Anyone that has spent at least one weekend partying in London knows how crazy the nights can get. This was the inspiration behind FRIEDBERG's latest single 'Go Wild'. The low-fi, head-nodding indie pop track rolls out with a thumping bass line, and at times shuttering synths that add a bit of a new wave feel.
Anna F. is no stranger to music, having released 2010's acclaimed 'For Real' LP and 'King in the Mirror' in 2014. She also had a role in the film 'Der Mann aus dem Eis (Iceman)'. With all of her success, Anna F., born Anna Wappel, now unveils her new band Friedberg. The first handing from the group comes in the form of the cut 'Boom'. Sultry with an undeniable edge, the production swerves between alternative, indie and trip-hop with Anna F. delivering smokey vocals on top. Reminiscent of Tricky or Massive Attack, 'Boom' is definitely a dark delight.
