Maud Geffray may already be familiar to fans of the Parisian group Scratch Massive but as a solo artist she is proving that she is an entity on to herself.
Geffray’s latest LP ‘Polaar’ is a deep, nocturnal journey through various styles of electronica ranging from house to electro pop and even new wave. Whilst haunting sound palettes are not foreign to the electronic world, Maud Geffray’s multifaceted selection of tempos and often times delivery of mood makes the LP highly pleasurable. Cinematic instrumental tracks such as ‘Voices from the Sky’ are balanced with steamy synth pop layered tunes like the catchy ‘In Your Eyes’ which features Flavien Berger.

Clyde P & Tim Baresko Release ‘True’ EP via Madtech
With Kerri Chandler's Madtech label continuing to release some of the hottest house music in the scene, the next offering from the imprint comes from French producers Clyde P and Tim Baresko titled the 'True' EP. Comprised of two cuts, the EP is vibrant and upbeat packaging of house sprinkled with a Chicago influence, specifically the sound of jack, whilst also incorporating elements of tech. Parisian duo 3615 Nuits Blances may not have the most conventional band name in music but they definitely know how to create some of the sexiest songs. Having released their debut album 'About Last Night', the pair have now shared the second single off the LP entitled 'Don't Wanna Dance'. The steamy and glitzy electro pop cut is definitely a sensual soundtrack to any hedonistic night which may or may not include dancing. 'Don't Wanna Dance' will get released on May 5 via L.O.V.E. Ltd. French singer Fishbach has rapidly risen as an artist to watch stemming back to last year. Generating quite the buzz, she has unveiled the official video to her single 'Un autre que moi'. Directed by Iker & Manfre, the sleek vid finds Fishbach literally trying to get rid of a body which happens to be herself. Ironically the task is proven to be more difficult than expected.
Melody’s Echo Chamber Returns with Sun-Filled Dream Pop Cut ‘Cross My Heart’
It's hard to imagine that five years have gone by since the initial release of Melody's Echo Chamber's self-titled debut. Whilst Melody Prochet, who launched the project, garnished a lot of attention for the LP, after her 2014 single 'Shirim', things went a little quiet. Prochet now makes her return with a new track entitled 'Cross My Heart'. Returning to her hazy dream pop imprinting, the song is a sun-filled, 60s inspired handing of pop that could technically be an indication that there will indeed be a second album landing this year.
