It's hard to imagine that five years have gone by since the initial release of Melody's Echo Chamber's self-titled debut. Whilst Melody Prochet, who launched the project, garnished a lot of attention for the LP, after her 2014 single 'Shirim', things went a little quiet. Prochet now makes her return with a new track entitled 'Cross My Heart'. Returning to her hazy dream pop imprinting, the song is a sun-filled, 60s inspired handing of pop that could technically be an indication that there will indeed be a second album landing this year. Two weeks ago Parisian producer Zimmer shared his steamy song 'Lost Your Mind' featuring Fhin. Exhibiting a darker and more nocturnal sound with the cut, Zimmer has now shared another tune entitled 'Fire', which is taken from his latest EP 'Ceremony', which is out now. A little sunnier and brighter than the previous, the upbeat song is laced with catchy piano riffs and spacey synths more fitting a day by the poolside in the summer, but no less enjoyable now. Unveiling her single 'Supernova' last month, French singer sarasara now brings forth a remix by legendary producer Matthew Herbert. This combination seems quite appropriate considering that both acts have built a reputation on creating experimental and avant garde electronica. What Herbert dubs as the 'White Rabbit Mix', the rework is moody piece that painted with a rubbery bass line, skittering back vocals and light drums.
