Icelandic/Norwegian group Ultraflex are slated to release their debut album 'Visions of Ultraflex', out October 30th. Inspired by the sounds of disco, the pair dropped the lead single 'Olympic Sweat' back in May of this year. Now Ultraflex step up with their second offering entitled 'Work Out Tonight'. Tapping into more of an 80s R&B meets glam pop vibe, the single is a glistening and sultry piece that makes you want to dance at a pool party with a cocktail in one hand during a warm summer day.
For her video 'Marry Me', Berlin-based singer Farao performs something that falls in-between a dance routine and aerobics along with a crew of women. This carries on throughout a number of scenic changes including an industrial landscape to a futuristic car park-looking setting. The quirky aspect to the visuals are actually what makes it interesting even if it is a bit on the weird side.
Berlin-based artist Kari Jahnsen aka Farao jas just inked a deal with Western Vinyl. To coincide with the news, she has also shared a new track titled 'The Ghost Ship'. Musically leaping straight into the future, this brilliant mesh of electronica and cosmic pop, Farao glides across the production with complete fluidity. This is a massive return from the innovative act.
