ExSage have shared a stream of their new EP 'Total Devotion'. The record marks a new chapter for the band with singer Kate Clover now steering the ship solo. Playing every instrument on the EP with the exception of drums, 'Total Devotion' is a raw, energetic and utterly fierce package. Swirling together spearing punk, smokey psychedelic and alternative, Clover has demonstrated that she can rock harder than ever, driving with pure direction, with a brilliant release being the outcome. Below is a stream of the new EP.
L.A. band ExSage have announced the release of their new EP 'Total Devotion', scheduled to land September 22nd. The recording has also come with a major change in that, rather than operating as a duo, singer Kate Clover has now taken the mantle to deliver the project solo. Unleashing the first track from the upcoming work titled 'Under Your Spell', the group delivers high-powered rock & roll, displaying a maturity in their sound, yet still embracing their punk roots. Clover sounds better than ever leading the charge as fiery guitar riffs storms from shadows, pushing the song as a true dominating force. You can stream 'Under Your Spell' down at the bottom.
L.A. rockers Exsage have dropped the video for their song 'Tripwire'. Directed by Jason Lester, the visuals depict strange interactions with dodgy men with briefcases and a guy with his face wrapped in bandages like something out of a Halloween flick. Definitely a little on the eerie side, the song is a rock and roll gem.
Tim Foley and Kate Clover were almost destined to make music together. Having originally formed the band Cobalt Cranes releasing records such as their 2010 self-titled EP, the 'In Media Rez' EP (also released that year) on up to their 'Days In The Sun' album in December of 2014, the pair eventually split only to reunite as Exsage.
