Brooklyn band Dinowalrus bring forth their latest video 'Falling to the Periphery', with the track taken from their latest album 'Fairweather'. Directed by Pete Feigenbaum, the NYC pop rockers perform the track on a rooftop whilst clips are tweaked with 90s style psychedelic effects. Minimal to a degree, the visuals simply serve to place the main emphasis on the dreamy soundscape. Have a look.
Falling somewhere between shoegaze and post-punk is the latest track 'Light Rain' by NYC band Dinowalrus. Taken from their forthcoming LP 'Fairweather', the song is a mid-tempo, easing bit that slides progressively with catch hooks and epic build-ups, all graciously emitting a sound that is reminiscent of Manchester's musical glory days of the late 80s and early 90s. Brooklyn post-punk band Dinowalrus will release their fourth album 'Fairweather' on September 23rd. The group have shared the first single taken from the LP entitled 'Tides'. The swaying piece of indie is an infectious offering, slightly taken a nod towards the golden sound of The Happy Mondays. Mesh hazy vocals with sharp guitar play and mid-tempo drum kicks, and you have a grand return from the New York group. This definitely makes us happy and overly-excited for their upcoming record. You can listen to 'Tides' down at the bottom.
