Detroit-born, Vancouver-based singer and musician Khari Wendell McClelland delivers a piece of history with his forthcoming album 'Freedom Singer', out April 27th. Delving into the journey of his great-great-great grandmother Kizzy who made the trek from the United States to Canada in the 1800s, the LP is a collection of songs that represent that time period and the possible accompaniment throughout her travel. Co-produced with John Raham, Khari Wendell McClelland blends various musical styles to create one powerful and masterful record.

Jack White ‘Over and Over and Over’ Video

Jack White is back with the release of his incredible new album 'BOARDING HOUSE REACH' out on his Third Man Records imprint. Here is the video for his blazing single 'Over and Over and Over'. A whirlwind of room changing scenes of a home which feature marching in military fatigue, people working out and more with White jamming on his guitar. Now mind you, the camera pans extremely quick as the clips transition. For those who are prone to dizziness fairly quickly, we are going to forewarn you - it's rapid. Having released their blazing EP 'The Romance' about four months back, Detroit/Berlin pair Shaun J. Wright and Alinka fire-off with their latest release 'Walk Into The Unknown'. Driving down the lane of acid house and venturing into the tech side of things, the record, whilst darker in sound than their previous release, still contains that sultry and nocturnal styling of 4x4 that originally captured us initially. Shigeto ft. ZelooperZ ‘Barry White’ Video

Detroit's Shigeto brings forth his video for the track 'Barry White' featuring rapper ZelooperZ. Directed by Voiid Studio, the visuals feature the two Detroit natives kicking it in a house party but then flips to a darker tone with ghostly-like people strolling through eerie hallways. The song is taken from Shigeto's upcoming album 'The New Monday', out October 6th on Ghostly International.

Shigeto Shares Latest Single ‘Don’t Trip’

Detroit's Shigeto is set to release his new album 'The New Monday' on October 6th via Ghostly International. Inspired by his hometown of 'The D', the producer has unveiled a new single titled 'Don't Trip'. Fusing soulful and jazz-based keys with funk, all driven by hard-hitting tribal drums, this cut is definitely for those who want to zone out. Have a listen.

Shigeto ‘Detroit Part II’ Video

The one thing about guys from Detroit, they are definitely proud of their city. Whilst the musical heritage of Detroit is unprecedented, Zach Saginaw aka Shigeto steps up again to pay homage to his hometown. His latest video 'Detroit Part II' finds the producer trekking around the D, as well as rocking in the studio as the jazzy Hip-Hop meets club cut plays throughout. The black and white-shot visuals are directed by Brandon Rottman. The song itself is taken from Shigeto's forthcoming album 'The New Monday', out October 6 on Ghostly International. Have a look.

ZGTO ‘Off Dat’ Video

Having collaborated for the past couple of years now, Detroit's ZelooperZ and Shigeto reunite for their project ZGTO. The duo will release their album 'A Piece of the Geto' on August 4th. One of the songs taken from the upcoming record is their zoned-out track 'Off Dat', which they have also shared the video for. What you have here is rapper ZelooperZ kindly 'expanding his mind' into a far-off and trippy place where the environment is a mesh of psychedelic landscapes and a stream of purple haze...literally. Already proving that he is a permanent fixture in the techno scene, Jimmy Edgar continues to stretch pass any lines of genre with his latest EP 'Dreamz Come True'. Previously sharing the title cut featuring Rochelle Jordan, Edgar now unveils another tune called 'Hydrant'. Production wise, the track is a slow rolling, spaced-out Hip-Hop/trap blend that will definitely have you in a vibe.
