To many I Am Willow may be new to the music scene, however, the Malta-born, London-based singer had already established herself in the business writing Number 1 hit records for artists such as Auryn and Sweet California, working with one of Japan’s biggest selling artists Koda Kumi and winning Best Female Artist and Best Songwriter at the 2009 Malta Music Awards. Whilst that in itself is already worth its weight in gold, I Am Willow has also wowed the likes of iconic singer Annie Lennox, who she sang for. The fact is, music runs through the veins of this artisan and she treats it like a masterful painter concentrating on every fine stroke of the brush. From the sonic to the visual aspect, I Am Willow represents that of heart, soul and beauty.

Having released music under the name Lisa Alma, which includes the 2016 record 'Thigh', the Danish singer has undergone a transformation of sorts. Now recording under the moniker of Lisa Bregneager, she is set to unveil a new album entitled 'Slowdancing', out November 25th. The first offering from the LP is the moody track 'In the Blue'. It would be an understatement to call Fear of Men's video 'Sane' bizarre, however the Rosie Carr and Lucy Jone-directed video seems to capture a sort of battle within, which is depicted by vocalist Jessica Weiss. Strolling about outside in a forest-like environment containing art pieces and artifacts, Weiss eventually gathers herself together after an intense self-struggle.
Bulgarian-born, L.A.-based musician and composer Gueorgui Linev aka Kan Wakan, struck gold with his LP 'Moving On' two years back. Now drawing inspiration from his native city of Sofia and his grandmother, who fell into a coma, Linev has shared his gorgeous single 'Molasses' featuring the vocals of Elle Olsun. Slow-gripping with brilliant arrangements falling perfectly into place like pieces of a puzzle, the song emits a haunting feel reminiscent of acts such as Massive Attack.
A graveyard is the open space for a woman to run through, not to mention Norwegian singer and artist Jenny Hval bouncing on a stability ball whilst wearing a wig. If this sounds even remotely strange, that's because it is. This is what you get with Hval's latest video 'Conceptual Romance'. There is even a scene where three girls are going mental, to the point of fighting each other. However, all of the ladies seem to be in a happier state of mind once all huddled together in front of a mansion whilst wearing cat suits painted to look like naked bodies. According to director Zia Anger, the video is "a conceptual ménage a trois between Jenny, myself, and cheap tricks. It is a literal burial of the effigies we have created in our video and performance collaborations over the past three years."
