Communist Daughter deliver their latest video 'Hold Back', taken from their new LP 'The Cracks That Built the Wall'. Directed by Nicholas Larkins Perez and Jon Dahlin, the story revolves around a woman, who is a doctor, heading over to work to deal with a patient. Whilst it would seem like a typical day, it turns out that the patient is actually someone close to the doctor, which is uncovered later in the video. Have a look.

Minnesota-based band Communist Daughter return with their new indie-folk single, 'Balboa Bridge', a reference to the Cabrillo Bridge located in San Diego, California. Gorgeous and breezy in sound, the song's theme is a dark examination of suicidal thoughts tied into addiction and mental illness, a topic that band leader John Solomon has had personal dealings with.

Sometimes you have to destroy to rebuild, and with John Solomon, founder of St. Paul band Communist Daughter, battling a series of trials and tribulations which nearly demolished everything dear to him, also helped to act as an awakening moment to rise stronger than ever. Releasing their album 'Soundtrack To The End' back in 2011, Communist Daughter went on to drop their 'Lions & Lambs' EP and even their somewhat grim thorn into the side of X-mas songs with their 'Sing Sad Christmas' record.
