Little Person Unveil Their Latest Tune ‘Perfect Girls’

Brooklyn-based duo Little Person have dropped another easing single entitled 'Perfect Girls'. The track follows their recent tune 'Solemn Is The Only Word', which are both taken from the group's forthcoming EP 'I Feel Fine', scheduled to land April 3rd. Like their past breezy work, 'Perfect Girls' is a drenched in sunny melodies, perfect for a warming climate that is sure to come with the new season. Have a listen.

Stream Sharkmuffin’s New Track ‘Space Glow’

On the New York side of things, Brooklyn band Sharkmuffin have been dropping a load of excellent punk, noise and garage rock tracks for a number of years. Their 2013 debut EP 'She-Gods of Champagne Valley' was an energetic marathon of raw and in your face garage that was jumping with force and attitude. That same year they also dropped the '1097' EP. 2015 saw the release of Sharkmuffin's debut LP 'Chartreuse', further imprinting their core sound which featured a modern day punk fury mixed with classic elements of the genre.

Run The Jewels Have Released ‘RTJ3’

Run The Jewels originally scheduled their album 'RTJ3' to land on the 13th of January, however, the duo gave fans a treat by releasing it shortly before Christmas. Ironically the impact of the sudden availability was so great that the Run The Jewels website literally crashed! Run The Jewels Unveil ‘Legend Has It’ Taken from ‘RTJ3’

If anyone should get an award from consistency it's Run The Jewels. Practically the saving graces of Hip-Hop over the past few years, El-P and Killer Mike are set to release their forthcoming 'RTJ3' LP on the 13th of January, 2017. The duo have shared their song 'Legend Has It' which is featured on the upcoming new album. In glorious RTJ fashion, Mike and El-P dish out lyrical beat downs over skippy drums, sporadic chopped guitar licks and husky synths. Raw and gritty, it looks like Run The Jewels may have yet again another classic on their hands.

Whilst Ann Arbor and Detroit acts such as The Stooges and the MC5 were precursors to what would inspire bands to create a sound known as punk rock, the proper formation of the movement took place in New York City in the early 70s. Groups like The New York Dolls and The Velvet Underground went on to further lay a foundation for the scene with bands like Television, The Ramones and Patti Smith elevating the culture to new heights, eventually creating an international buzz. This legacy of the grit and grind, the hustle and the New York DIY ethic is one that Brooklyn band The So So Glos know oh so well. They are the now generation of rockers proudly flying the flag for NYC with a spirit and sound that is energetic and resonant.
