The duo have shared their song 'Legend Has It' which is featured on the upcoming new album. The So So Glos Interview

Whilst Ann Arbor and Detroit acts such as The Stooges and the MC5 were precursors to what would inspire bands to create a sound known as punk rock, the proper formation of the movement took place in New York City in the early 70s. Groups like The New York Dolls and The Velvet Underground went on to further lay a foundation for the scene with bands like Television, The Ramones and Patti Smith elevating the culture to new heights, eventually creating an international buzz. This legacy of the grit and grind, the hustle and the New York DIY ethic is one that Brooklyn band The So So Glos know oh so well. They are the now generation of rockers proudly flying the flag for NYC with a spirit and sound that is energetic and resonant.

Dinowalrus Share Their Shoegaze Track ‘Light Rain’

Falling somewhere between shoegaze and post-punk is the latest track 'Light Rain' by NYC band Dinowalrus. Taken from their forthcoming LP 'Fairweather', the song is a mid-tempo, easing bit that slides progressively with catch hooks and epic build-ups, all graciously emitting a sound that is reminiscent of Manchester's musical glory days of the late 80s and early 90s. You can stream 'Light Rain' down below.

Stream Computer Magic’s Dreamy Single ‘Dimensions’

Brooklyn-based producer Computer Magic makes her return with a new, dreamy synth-pop single entitled 'Dimensions'. Whilst a little less experimental than her previous work, the track is a little more accessible to the mainstream, yet no less interesting or addicting. Merging drifting vocals over hazy production, the single is taken from Computer Magic's forthcoming EP 'Obscure but Visible', which lands October 7th via Channel 9 Records. Have a listen.
