Tricky reveals the official video for one his most personal songs to date, 'Boy'. Taken from his current LP 'Skilled Mechanics', the visuals feature a boxer training in a gym and jogging throughout the streets of Knowle West in Bristol. There is also an appearance from Tricky's childhood friend Whitley, who is mentioned in the song itself. 'Boy' is directed by Darrel Pursey and Tricky. Have a look.

Massive Attack ft. Tricky ‘Take It There’ Video

Massive Attack's new 'Ritual Spirit' EP, in our opinion, has jumped straight to the top as the best release of 2016 so far. Of course we have a long way until the end of the year, but the four track bit is so entrancing that you can call it sonic voodoo. The Bristol-originated group has unveiled the video for one of the biggest cuts on the EP entitled 'Take It There' featuring early Massive Attack member Tricky. Directed by Hiro Murai, it features actor John Hawkes staggering in a disoriented manner throughout the streets of Los Angeles, as a group of zombie like dancers trail around him.

Stream Julio Bashmore’s ‘She Aint’

Bristol's Julio Bashmore has shared a new track entitled 'She Aint', taken from his latest album 'Knockin' Boots'. Steering in the direction of jump-up, disco-house, the hard-stomping track explodes with energy the moment the 4x4 drum programming kicks in around the 1 minute mark. You can listen to 'She Aint' down at the bottom. 'Knockin' Boots' lands August 7th on Boardwalk Records.

Marcel Lune Interview

Although semi-new in the scene, Bristol's Motz Workman, known under the moniker of Marcel Lune, composes tracks with the skills of a well-seasoned producer with a tenure of two decades under his or her belt. Crafting foward-thinking rhythms encompassing soul, broken beat, 2-step, jazz, house and Hip-Hop, his music has enticed the ears of Gilles Peterson, Rustie and Addison Groove, just to name a few. Having released EPs on labels such as Studio Rockers and Audio Dougnuts, his songs are true audible voyages, ripe with change-ups and intricate arrangements.
