Retrograde boss Marlon Hoffstadt has released a stream of incredible house records, and now teaming up with Chicago vocalist Paris Brightledge, the pair are set to drop their monster of an EP titled 'Shattered'. The title track combines breakbeat drums with a deep, bubbling bass line and milky synths, creating an old school rave meets acid feel as Brightledge's soulful vocals add the perfect topping. Hoffstadt goes ethereal with the tune 'Elevate', a mellow and dreamy soundscape with Paris Brightledge delivering that golden Chi-town touch.
Having released music under the name Lisa Alma, which includes the 2016 record 'Thigh', the Danish singer has undergone a transformation of sorts. Now recording under the moniker of Lisa Bregneager, she is set to unveil a new album entitled 'Slowdancing', out November 25th. The first offering from the LP is the moody track 'In the Blue'.
