Australian rockers Batz have returned with their new single 'Remain The Same'. Taking their glam rock and punk sound and infusing it with spreads of pop and indie, the production is constructed on classic break drums, electro-powered synths and sizzling guitar riffs.
When it comes to releasing consistently good music Melbourne band BATZ continue to be at the forefront for us. Their EP 'Night Terrors' was absolutely incredible and their follow-up singles 'Darlin' and 'Gameshow Queen' did not disappoint. The group now make their return with their latest recording 'Save Us'. Effortlessly bridging together lush indie with warm desert rock, singer Christina Aubry spearheads the track with her classic signature cool, complimenting the instrumentation flawlessly. You can stream 'Save Us' down at the bottom.
Again, we have been a solid champion of the Melbourne outfit Batz for quite a …
Australian band Batz are hands down one of our fave groups from the land down under. We were supporters of the five-piece before their debut EP and of course by the time they released their killer record 'Night Terrors', the Melbourne-based band did not disappoint in any shape, form or fashion. With a blend of punk, garage, indie and more, Batz can do no wrong in our eyes at the moment. Now back with a new song titled 'Darlin'', the indie/post-punk bit finds the crew bridging the energy of their raw sound of the past with more even polished production, making this one another top-rated and insanely addicting release. Have a listen.

Melbourne band Batz are good...intensely good. With a sound that stirs together indie, surf and punk, just to name a few, they are a representation of everything that is utterly great about rock.
Consisting of Christina Aubry, Joshua Aubry, Dali Platt, Jim Stirton and Jakob Kagan, the band shared a batch of tunes throughout 2015 including the lively garage/punk cut 'Take It', 'Follow Me' and the lustrous surf rock-fused song 'Sid & Nancy'. Batz returned in 2016 with the late night rocker ‘3 AM Pony’, which can be considered the soundtrack of the dreg. Even though the song may spring visuals of drunken staggering, hedonistic excursions and grimy nocturnal adventures, Batz managed to make the song sound uber sexy and intriguing.
