Last year marked a new era for Ibiza as the island hosted its first ever electronic music festival – Creamfields and we are pleased to announce its return on Friday 5th August, during BBC Radio 1’s Ibiza weekend this year’s 10 hour party-thon will be taking over the legendary Space venue.
If Nwando Ebizie appears to be unlike any other artist out here today, it’s because she’s not. The musician, producer, dancer, DJ and performance artist is more like a renaissance woman whose experimental presentations have dazzled audiences not only in theatres but have also captured the ears of tastemakers like Gilles Peterson. Working under the moniker of Lady Vendredi, her work is a clashing of culture and sound topped with a dressing of afro-futurism.

Coming off of the back of a slew of remixes last year and their single 'Spin Me High', South London trio have now teamed up with rapper Youngen for the track 'You Get Me'. Fusing together elements of bass, steaming electronica and club, the cut was produced by the band themselves, sparking a heater for the raves and radio.
In regards to 'You Get Me', Noise Galleri stated:
"It's about the crazy feelings and emotions you get when you first meet someone and you can't get them out of your head. We were trying to convey the notion of being into someone so much that they become your whole world. The aim was to create as much hype and energy as possible in the music to match the intense feelings we describe in the lyrics."
It appears as if the Vessels track '4AM' will definitely have its share of reworks done. With NY producer Falty DL delivering a sublime version of the track, now South London duo LV bring forth their deep, sub-shaking remix. Atmospheric in tone, the sound is constructed into a slick wave of rolling bass frequencies underneath chopped vocal samples and minimal synth spreads.
South London producer Darq E Freaker made his name in the grime scene years ago, producing monster tracks such as Tempa T's 'Next Hype'. Constantly evolving in sound, he went on to work with acts such Danny Brown, D Double E and more. The Peckham native now unleashes his latest mixtape 'ADHD', out April 30th via Big Dada. Consisting of 5 tracks in total, the record is a sonic barrage of hyper-bass frequencies infusing trap, twisted electronica and grime. Just like his 'Don't Freak Out' mixtape from earlier this year, Darq E Freaker is definitely taking you on mental roller coaster ride at full speed.
East London grime producer Rude Kid is set to release his forthcoming EP 'Noah's Ark' on March 25th via the Rinse label. Comprised of four instrumental tracks, the new recording will feature a hybrid of golden age grime style production, jungle and intense bass. One of the songs featured on 'Noah's Ark' is the track 'Oh My Bass', which if you have been listening to Sir Spyro's Rinse FM show over the past month and a half, you would have heard it being dropped in sets, notably the episode with Ghetts and Rude Kid himself. You can stream 'Oh My Bass' down at the bottom.
