Esther Joy Returns with ‘Day 4 (Landing)’

London's Esther Joy is definitely one of the more exciting acts out today, treading on the darker side of electronica. Having announced the release of forthcoming debut EP 'The Acid Caves Vol 1.', she returns with a futuritsic meeting of electronica, dance and hard-hitting trap. And while musically the track itself is a heavy-hitter for the raves, the content actually revolves around a story in which Esther Joy states:

Esther Joy had a busy 2017 touring with Charli XCX's band. The London-based artist now returns with a new track titled 'Day 1 (Silipur Leaves Home)'. Taken from her upcoming EP 'The Acid Caves', the cut is a roller coaster ride of bass-twisting electronica combined with a digital punk whipping that completely punches you in the face with force. If there is a modern that exudes a sense of power and might, it's definitely Esther Joy.

Benin City ‘All Smoke, No Fire’ Video

Benin City return with their latest video 'All Smoke, No Fire'. Addressing the issue of the constant closing down of London nightclubs and pubs, the Shaun James Grant-directed visuals capture a desolate nighttime feel throughout the city as well as locations of various venues that no longer exist. The song is definitely one that many London clubbers can surely relate to. The track is taken from Benin City's forthcoming album 'Last Night', out April 6th via Moshi Moshi Records.
