ColoRising Mixes returns with a very special curated playlist courtesy of London duo The Vanity Project who appropriately titles it 'Ten eclectic tracks that cover the various influences found on our debut album ‘We Never Should Have Come Here'.
London band Weird Milk explore the sounds of baroque pop, psych and more in their latest single 'Time Machine'. Drawing from the stylistic influences of David Bowie and even a splash of The Arctic Monkeys, the track is a collage of rhythms that drive the listener through multiple soundscapes that are at times theatrical and other moments quite funky.
Oregon artist Heather Woods Broderick is preparing for the release of her third album 'Invitation', landing April 19th on Western Vinyl. With the LP drawing inspiration from a quote by Thomas Moore, the first single taken from the record is the song entitled 'Where I Lay'. What begins as a subtle yet gorgeous pop handing, transcends into a cinematic and epic building that is utterly breath-taking.
