Post-punk, synth-wave, industrial, techno - Barcelona's SDH (Semiotics Department of Heteronym) are some of the best to craft the sound bursting from Spain. Comprised of Andrea P. Latorre and Sergi Algiz, label owners of Cønjuntø Vacíø and members of the cutting edge band Wind Atlas, their SDH project is the ultimate rush of haunting, heavy electronica layered with a synth-pop spreading, creating the ultimate balance between light and dark. Questioning the idea of fiction, SDH's sound is a continuing ride through illusory and realism. With their new EP 'Tell Them' out March 9th on Avant! Records, Semiotics Department of Heteronym are true heroes of electronic and post-punk alchemy.

Barcelona band Seward team up with London's LV for a remix of their single 'A Summer'. Definitely on the experimental side of electronica, the minimal rework is driven by a melodic piano riff decorated with unconventional tweaks in the premiere LV fashion. The original version is taken from Sewards's LP 'Second Two: Chapter Home', which is out now via NAIM Records. Have a listen.
If you have followed producer Lee Webster's career over the past few years, you will know that he has released an onslaught of records on various labels including Glasgow Underground, Madtech, I Used to Sleep at Night, Hot Wave and more. With many of those singles and EPs flaunting highly provocative titles, the Barcelona-based artist will now release his less explicit named EP 'Excusrsion' on Audiojack's Gruuv label. Weaving between deep and club-jacking house, the record includes three original songs as well as a remix of the track 'Blue Planet' by none other than Francois Dubois, known to the world as Funk D'Void. 'Excursion' is officially out March 11th.
Montreal duo who are now based in Barcelona, Blonde:ish, share their latest song 'Jupiter & Jaguar 'Welcome To The Present'. Taken from their upcoming album Welcome To The Future, the track is extra dark and deep, probably one that you will hear in the wee hours of the morning as the party settles and the night begins to be greeted by the morning light.
