What happens when you have a female emcee whose sex appeal is just as strong, if not stronger than any of the leading acts in Hip-Hop, r&b and pop, yet actually has a rebel spirit that completely contrasts 90% of what's out in the market? You get Australia's Alphamama, who has recently shared her new track 'Ass In The Front', which is taken from her forthcoming EP 'Honey Fire'. Based on the title, one could be easily tricked into thinking this a typical song about well, big butts. Whilst the name Made In Paris would lead one to believe that this is a French producer shaking things up in techno, it is actually the moniker of Sydney-based Paris Forscutt. The emerging star has been dropping some amazing records including 'Your Body' and her 'Dancing In Dark' EP. Forscutt now makes a return with her forthcoming EP titled 'You're Wrong', out August 26th. Comprised of two tracks, the record is a dark and intense dealing of nocturnal techno lead by the charge of the title cut, uncompromising and deep. The b-side 'Mystic Path' follows suit, with a rumbling bass line, echoing synths and sparkling effects, making for arsenal on the dance floor. 'You’re Wrong' will get released via Forscutt's label Upon Access.
Back in 2013, Melbourne's Haarlo released their debut EP 'Dreamlands' spawning the dark and soulful single 'What You Want'. The duo consisting of singer Stacey Gardiner and producer Jono Steer make their return with a new track titled 'Love's Gone'. Adding more of a pop sound amidst their concrete soul blueprint, the single is a warming delight, with their music accessible to the mainstream without necessarily trying to eliminate the magic that brought fans on board from the start. Have a listen to 'Loves Gone' below.
