Austin group Holiday Mountain and Mexican Institute of Sound come together for the insanely festive track 'Cómo Te Llamas'. Now in terms of the video, let's just say it doesn't get any wilder or weirder. Directed by Brittany Reeber, it's sort of like watching a workout video on acid. There are loads of trippy effects, high sprung dancing and accentuated bottoms.
Keeper is the Austin trio comprised of Erin Jantzen, Yadira Brown and Camille Thomison. Placing an emphasis on harmony within the spectrum of varied electronica, Keeper now share their latest record 'Not Done', a soulful future house track produced by MoonDoctor. The cut is taken from their forthcoming album 'Moonhigh', out October 1st which is currently available for pre-order via iTunes. You can preview 'Not Done' below.
For his latest album 'The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim', Gary Clark Jr. dug deep into the musical heritage of the American South, incorporating elements of blues, gospel and rock, with soul leading the bulk of the LP. This is the video for his song 'Church'. Directed by Danny Clinch, the black and white visuals are shot in a minimal manner with Gary Clark Jr. and two singers performing the song in a yard, whilst in front of a white backdrop. Check it out.
