Maria Usbeck's forthcoming 'Amparo' will finally arrive on May 27th via Labrador Records and the Cascine label in the US. Having previously shared her stunning tracks 'Moai Y Yo' and 'Uno De Tus Ojos', Usbeck now returns with a third offering entitled 'Jungla Inquieta'. Minimal with a subtle bass line, percussion and light keys, the alluring and fairy tale sonics of the arrangements are delightful earfuls that Maris Usbeck is rapidly becoming a master at. Former Selebrities frontwoman Maria Usbeck has announced the release of her debut LP 'Amparo', scheduled to land May 27th on Labrador Records. Although originally orchestrated electronically, Usbeck went on to record the album with Caroline Polachek of Chairlift to add a bigger sound with organic instrumentation. The first single taken from 'Amparo' is the astounding pop cut 'Moai Y Yo'. Usbeck uses her Spanish language to add a distinct grace to the fun and whimsical etching of pop.
