L.A. Salami Interview

Often times names such as Bob Dylan or Leonard Cohen are mentioned when discussing some of the most impactful wordsmiths of music. However Lookman Adekunle Salami can be considered as one of our modern marvels whose immaculate songwriting and lyricism puts him on par with many of the greats of the art form. Known to many as L.A. Salami, the London singer, poet, musician and overall multi-disciplined creative erases any sonic boundaries or limitations, allowing himself the freedom to constantly explore and foster a rich carnival of sounds.

Stream Raglans’ ‘Again & Again’ EP

Dublin band Raglans released their self-titled debut album back in 2014 which garnered support by BBC Radio 1's Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart and more. After performing loads of shows throughout that period, Raglans made their return with the release their latest EP 'Again & Again'. The record was also followed by a number of live dates with the group trekking across Ireland and parts of the Netherlands. Fostering a polished sound of alt-rock, the EP is tasty treat for fans who have craved for new material over the past couple years.

Communist Daughter ‘Hold Back’ Video

Communist Daughter deliver their latest video 'Hold Back', taken from their new LP 'The Cracks That Built the Wall'. Directed by Nicholas Larkins Perez and Jon Dahlin, the story revolves around a woman, who is a doctor, heading over to work to deal with a patient. Whilst it would seem like a typical day, it turns out that the patient is actually someone close to the doctor, which is uncovered later in the video. Have a look.

Listen to FURS’ Alternative Jewel ‘Holy Reviewer’

London band FURS are truly a pleasant addiction. Since dropping their track 'Going Nowehere' a couple of years back, the group have remained consistent with a flow of cuts that have led up to their recently released debut LP 'Just Kids'. One of the tunes taken from the album is the hazy piece entitled 'Holy Reviewer'. Whilst previous songs have been a delicious execution of synth-pop, 'Holy Reviewer' is an alternative rock effort that adds another layer to their already lush soundscape.
