Graciela María’s Version of the Classic Track ‘Adoro’ is Sheer Beauty
Berlin-based Graciela María is one of the most multi-faceted artists in the industry. Having weaved between various styles of music ranging from experimental electronica, moody and cinematic lo-fi, jazz-tinged downtempo on over to more Hip-Hop underlying beat cuts with Robot Koch, unlike many acts who tend to make an attempt at style shifting, she actually does it well...great in fact. Set to release a new album titled 'Canto Siete' on January 25th, Graciela María revisits the classic sounds of her native Mexico. The first offering from the LP comes in the form of this gorgeous version of 'Adoro', written by Armando Manzanero and originally released in 1967. Bursting with beauty, the spacious rendition is minimalist art with Graciela María's exquisite vocals accompanied simply by tender guitar cello. Ripe with mesmeric qualities, 'Adoro' displays Graciela María at her best.
