For those who were actually around in the early 90s to witness the explosion of jungle, remembers a revolution that not only changed the soundscape of the UK but helped to create a cultural bridge of people from various walks of life, all partying under one roof of 180 beats per minute.
On June 16, Keysound Recordings will drop the new EP “Blue” by producer Sully aka Jack Stevens, whose latest work re-visits the sound of jungle circa 1994. Chopped with rolling breaks, deadly synths and classic time stretching, “Blue” taps into a distinctive 90s nostalgia that not only brings back memories of those who were there to witness the jungle revolution but gives a spot on preview for those who weren’t.
