Manchester’s Umarells will release their forthcoming debut EP ‘One More Day’ on November 8th via Missing Out Records. However, before the project lands the group have shared their new single ‘Ocean’, which will be featured on the record.

‘Ocean’ is a serene slice of indie that deals with a relationship that has fallen apart. The melancholy instrumentation coupled with the emotive vocals of Imogen Badrock hits a soft spot right in the heart. Whilst there is indeed a sadness to the track, what can’t be denied is its underlying beauty.

Regarding the song, Umarells mentioned:

“‘Ocean’ envisions a break down of hope in a relationship characterised by the home in which it cohabited. The pictures capturing scenes still exist and the physical structure but the love that was there died out.”
