Last year Brooklyn band The Values released their slick self-titled EP which straddled the lines of pop and lush indie. Making their return, the duo now step up with their latest track ‘Separation Anxiety’. Concocting a hybrid of dark pop and indie, as well as a dose of 70s post punk and new wave, the song is an introspective analysis of the now expectations of a relationship, moving on from past experiences. The tune also gives a window into the sonic direction that The Values are moving towards, proving to be their finest work yet. Check it out.
